SHS is a Community Interest Company (CIC) specializing in domestic energy assessment and advice, as well as fuel poverty evaluation and mitigation. Our targeted identification and assessments allow housing providers and local authorities across the country to improve their housing stock and better understand tenant conditions.

We've had experience in working with over 15,000 households providing a variety of assessment and survey services to include Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and Fuel Poverty Assessments.  Additionally, we have specialized IT capabilities in e-surveys, and housing stock analysis.   The company has in-house domestic energy expertise as well as a scalable independent workforce that can be energized to meet the demands of larger projects.

SHS has extensive experience of working closely with a range of council partners to ensure the successful delivery of projects and programmes.  Staff members also advise 140 social landlords as part of the Greater London Authorities’ RE:NEW support team at a strategic innovation level.

Our vast delivery experience perfectly positions the company to deliver nascent innovations from identification of properties through to high quality reporting and monitoring.  SHS utilizes both its internal building expertise and external technical expertise when selecting and recommending interventions, particularly where multiple measures are being combined to ensure mitigation of performance risk.
